CHITWAN, MAR 03 - UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal received a certificate of appreciation from Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Tuesday. PM Koirala handed over the certificate to Dahal, leader and coordinator of 30-party opposition alliance, amid a function organised to mark the golden jubilee year of Chitwan- based Narayani Bidhya Mandir Higher Secondary School.UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal, an alumnus of the school, had completed his School Leaving Certificate from the school. Addressing the function, UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal said that he was really glad to have the opportunity to invite the PM to his previous school. PM Koirala and UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal had jointly inaugurated the golden jubilee function, which Chairman Dahal dubbed as a positive message to the nation.
Dahal said that he held an informal meeting with PM and expressed his optimism about drafting the constitution through consensus soon. During the programme, PM Koirala, saying that the nation needed peace, constitution and development, said the constitution will be promulgated soon.
